Emailed to Amundsen. <br /> 6/12/2007 Review letter from Amundsen. Issues identified: <br /> • More detailed storm sewer design and runoff analysis must be submitted. <br /> • More detailed rain garden design should be required prior to issuance of <br /> building permit. <br /> 6/18/2007 Planning Commission recommended approval conditioned on: <br /> 1. Approval of the final drainage plan by the City Engineer before the <br /> application is considered by the City council <br /> 2. The driveway being paved. <br /> 6/19/2007 Applicants notified of Planning Commission's recommendation by letter. Kurth <br /> notified by fax. 6/25 deadline specified for receipt of grading/drainage plan for <br /> 7/9 City Council meeting <br /> 6/26/2007 Turner notified applicants by letter that deadline for 7/9 City Council meeting <br /> passed without the grading/drainage plan being received. Extended time for <br /> consideration of variance to 9/27/2007. <br /> 7/17/2007 Feyos faxed landscape plan for rain garden, prepared by Frank's Landscaping <br /> and Bobcat Service. <br /> 7/23/2007 Letter from Turner to Frank's Landscaping and Bobcat Service (with copy to <br /> Feyos) indicating Amundsen had looked at Z/17 plan but it was not based on <br /> Kurth's grading plan. Directed to revised plan to reflect Kurth's plan. (7/17 plan <br /> was based on 3/5/2007 grading plan.) <br /> 8/2/2007 Letter from Turner to Feyo, containing quote from Kellogg: <br /> "The grading plan and storm drainage improvements provided were adequate for <br /> the Planning Commission to review but prior to final council approval all <br /> drainage details need to be resolved. This means that the applicant should have <br /> an engineer design and rain garden and any other associated storm sewer <br /> improvements. The final detailed design the engineer prepares should include <br /> detailed rain garden design, proposed pipes and pipe sizing and all associate <br /> supporting calculations. The proposed storm sewer improvements should be <br /> integrated into the previously approved grading plan.
