The property abuts CR6 on the north and west sides, although there is a large area of Hennepin County <br /> right-of-way to the immediate west (see photo). A single family residence is to the east, and Lurton <br /> Park is to the immediate South. The property might be valuable in terms of wildlife connectivity in <br /> northwest Orono as well as provide possible trail connectivity to Baker Park. The sight is mostly open <br /> with some wetlands. <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Staff requests direction from Council as to whether there is interest in the City considering pursuing <br /> acquisition of any or all of these properties. <br />
