POTENTIAL WETLAND AREAS Based on a review of off-site data (National Wetland Inventory (NWI) map and the Hennepin County Soil Survey) there appears to be 2 potential wetland areas located within the property boundaries of the subject parcel. According to the Hennepin County Soil Survey hydric soil§have also been mapped on the site. There are three necessary criteria for a jurisdictional wetland: hydric soil,hydrophytic vegetation and the presence of water (hydrology). A fourth criterion for jurisdictional determination is that of normal conditions,. SER reviews past precipitation data and local site conditions to determine the existence of normal conditions. SER boundaries are established with normal conditions as a pre-requisite. WETLAND DETERMINATION SCOPE OF SERVICES Wetland Determination SER will review the above referenced site for the presence of areas meeting wetland criteria. This will include reviewing relevant available maps of the site (NWI maps, Hennepin County Sail-Survey, etc.), a site visit to determine the extent of the wetlands present and documentation of our findings Review Off Site Data Prior to the initial site visit, SER personnel will review the Hennepin county soil survey, NWI maps, the most recent aerial photographs, and,the DNR Protected Waters maps in order it determine the location of any wetland areas on the property and to get familiarized with the location of the property. Field visit For the wetland determination all potential jurisdictional wetlands will be,reviewed by SER ecologists. An approximate wetland edge will be determined based on review of off site data, current vegetation, land contours and limited selectively placed soil samples(ground conditions permitting).
