(The numbers in parenthesis after each comment correspond to the applicable subparagraph of <br /> section 78-626). It is expected that these items be addressed prior to the City Council meeting, unless otherwise <br /> noted. It is anticipated that the City Council will review this application at their meeting on March 9th. <br /> 1. Engineering comments provided by Bob Bean in his letter of January 23,2020 shall be addressed as indicated. <br /> 2. Staff has reviewed the landscape plan submitted. The RPUD code includes specific requirements of the <br /> landscaping plan. They can be found in Section 78-626 (14). The plan should be adjusted to meet the <br /> following requirements: <br /> Landscape plan requirements. Landscape plans shall be prepared by a landscape architect or other <br /> qualified person acceptable to the city, drawn to the scale of not less than one inch equals 50 feet <br /> and shall show the following: <br /> 1. Boundary lines of the property with accurate dimensions; <br /> 2. Locations of existing and proposed buildings, parking lots, roads,trails and other improvements; <br /> 3. Proposed grading plan with two-foot contour intervals; <br /> 4. Location, approximate size and common name of existing trees and shrubs; <br /> 5. A planting schedule containing symbols, quantities, common and botanical names, size of <br /> plant materials, root condition and special planting instructions; <br /> 6. Planting details illustrating proposed locations of all new plant material; <br /> 7. Locations and details of other landscape features,including berms,fences and planter boxes; <br /> 8. Details of restoration of disturbed areas,including areas to be sodded and seeded; <br /> 9. Location and details of irrigation systems; and <br /> 10. Details and cross sections of all required screening. <br /> -Items in bold are not shown on the landscape plan. <br /> 3.Additional landscaping related comments include: <br /> a. Based on the size of the building and the size of the site 10 coniferous trees,these must be 6 feet in <br /> height are required. (14b) <br /> b.Additional understory shrubs are required, in particular along the parking lot fronting Kelley Parkway. <br />
