• •Hey Lili, Here is'a letter i received about my deck permit, I am not going to pay for another$1000 servery for a deck costing $1200 in materials and I cant not believe that a deck is hard cover or that my almost 6 acres is going to be effected by a 8x14 deck. Plus the $700 escrow account is almost the cost of the deck. We got back all of the escrow account for our porch, after many calls, so why is this needed for a deck? I though that is what the deck permit was for. This is getting to be a JOKE! A deck should not be this hard to get a permit for. Plus, this was about two weeks after I had dropped it off. I can't believe i can burn a giant pile of brush with no problem but a deck need a lawyer.
