More information about de-icing operations is available in the LMCD Code <br /> Section 2.09. <br /> • Adjustments to the dock may be required if environmental concerns arise, navigational <br /> safety or unreasonable limitation to lake access occurs for adjacent properties due to the <br /> dock installation or use. <br /> • Approval from the LMCD does not absolve you of the need to secure all necessary <br /> permits or approval from all governmental agencies. <br /> • Any changes to the property such as subdivision or combination may render the permit <br /> null and void and requires a review by the LMCD Executive Director within forty-five <br /> (45) days of the change to the property. <br /> • Use of the Lake shall at all times remain subject to regulation by the LMCD to assure <br /> the public of reasonable and equitable access to the Lake. The issuance of this permit <br /> shall grant no vested rights to the use of Lake Minnetonka. <br /> IV. MN DNR General Permit#97-6098 <br /> The MN DNR General Permit issued to the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District(LMCD) <br /> requires specific standards be met prior to issuing dock licenses. One standard is to obtain <br /> review and comments of the proposed application from the MN DNR Fisheries Manager and <br /> Hydrologist. This application was provided for review and comments to the MN DNR and <br /> representatives of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District(MCWD) and the City of Orono. <br /> No comments or objections were received. <br /> VI. Permit Approval <br /> Pursuant to LMCD Code Section 2.06, Permanent Non-Multiple Non-Commercial Docks, this <br /> permanent dock permit is granted based on compliance with the approved site plan and other <br /> applicable requirements.
