No. 90880
Ra: Soil Percolation Tests on Tract A of Registered Land Survey No. 1340
4. Located East of Old Crystal Bay Road in Orono, Minnesota.
r Gentlenen: •
We ware retained by you to perform soil percolation tests at the above site.
These tests were performed during the period of November 30 through December 3,
1976, at locations as shown on the enclosed soil percolation test location diagram.
The procedures utilized in this testing were in ac'ordance with the methods des-
=ynated by the Minnesota Department of Health, 1971 , and were somewhat modified
by our engineering .judgement.
The attached log sheets indicate the: observed percolation rates at each of
the test holes (P-1 through P-48) . The observed percolation rates varied from 30
; i to 100 minutes per inch. The average percolation rate within the preferred
effluent disposal system area on any one lot was less than the maximum allowable
.'ate of 60 minutes per inch, as recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health.
Based on these observations, the installation of an individual soil absorption
system will be acceptable in the preferred septic system disposal field areas as
^. tet ted.
i
Wal oho.•.0 Kwar.y.P.E.
