Issues to Note: <br /> 1.) As discussed on site, a metal strap needs to be placed from the top plate to the stud at 32" <br /> o.c. at the roof interior corridor and exterior walls. Use a Simpson SSP for fastening a double <br /> top plate to single stud per the attached document. <br /> 2.) A metal strap needs to be placed at the ends of all lintels (lintel to post below) at the roof <br /> interior corridor and exterior walls. Use a Simpson LSTA18 per the attached document. <br /> 3.) A metal strap needs to be placed from the LVL's in the mechanical area well to the top stud <br /> plate at the roof interior corridor walls at 4'-0" o.c. Use Simpson TSP for fastening to a <br /> double top plate per the attached document. <br /> 4.) The L5 lintel supporting the roof at the main entrance at the stairway currently spans the <br /> entire opening at the corridor. Per S1.3, a (4) 2x6 post needs to be added under the L5 lintel <br /> at mid-span and needs to be carried below to the foundation. <br /> This report should not be misunderstood as a final inspection approval report or a final checklist. Our <br /> walk-through observations were not detailed inspections. See the special inspector's reports for <br /> detailed inspection results and for any other issues to be corrected.
