Co., MN ZERP'!'WMAN UTONSITE ATALL TIMES <br /> A Compliance Inspection was completed for the existing on-site sewage treatment <br /> system located on this property for an addition to the home which includes 2 bedrooms. <br /> The home now has 3 bedrooms. 'The existing system consists of 3-1000 gallon septic <br /> tanks & a pressurized mound system with a 10' x 38' rock bed. <br /> Soil borings #1, 2 & 3 found mottled soil (redox features) at 30" to 36" below the ground <br /> surface. Boring #4 was completed through the mound which found the original soil at <br /> elev.1010.7 & the bottom of the rock bed at elev.1011.7 which leaves 1' of sand below <br /> the rock bed. Boring #5 was completed through the mound which found the original <br /> soil at elev.1010.5 &the bottom of the rock bed at elev.1011.7 leaving 1.2' of sand <br /> below the rock bed. This system is classified as in compliance with Minnesota Chapter <br /> 7080 rules. ORONO COPY <br /> This on-site sewage treatment system is designed for a Type 1, five bedroom home, in <br /> accordance with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Chapter 7080 and local <br /> ordinances. <br /> The existing west end of the mound will need the loam topsoil fill removed to the <br /> existing sand. An additional 10' x 24' rock bed will need to be installed with the upslope <br /> edge of the rock bed having the original soil at elev.1010.7. <br /> The existing tanks will need to be abandoned, pumped & filled with soil. The new tanks <br /> will be installed at the excavated walkout for the home. <br /> All property lines must be located prior to installation.
