The purpose of this action item is to gain approval for the disposal of unclaimed property. <br /> <br />2. Background. The Orono Police Department has unclaimed property that has been turned in to the <br />department. The unclaimed property was found or abandoned within the city. The following property <br />has not been claimed. All of the property has been in the department’s possession for more than 60 <br />days. The police department considers the property as abandoned property and would like to dispose <br />through K-Bid or similar public auction. <br /> <br />3. Project Scope. Disposal of a unclaimed property. To include the following <br />1. Two - Sony 7 cameras <br />2. Canon 70-200mm zoom lenses <br />3. Other misc. camera accessories <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
