O. Box 66
Crystal Bay, MN 55323
Attn: Paul Weinberger
Re: Robert Suess
Dear Paul,
When we originally designed the ponding area on Lot 8, Block 1, MEADOW WOOD
POND we had an invert for the 12" CMP outlet pipe at 1024.0 feet. Per discussions with
the city engineer, we asked to lower this to 1022.0 feet which is shown on the plans. We
find it was put in at 1023.2 feet. The required storage at the invert elevation was 9000
square feet and 12,500 square feet at an elevation of 2 feet higher.
The enclosed plan shows filling to connect the higher ground to the island thus creating a
peninsula. The plan also shows excavation in the northwest corner of the pond in order to
meet the above original storage requirements.
As long as the design storage is accomplished, everything will work as approved. If you
have any questions, please notify me.
Sincerely,
Coffin & Gronberg, Inc.
Mark S. Gronberg, P.E. & L.S.
