Drainage area map for your property.
2. Drainage calculations to determine the capacity of the stormwater pond you intend to alter.
The calculations are necessary to determine if the pond has capacity to handle the stormwater
flow the original pond was to designed for.
The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District approved Permit No. 93-179 for the construction of the
pond and the stormwater management plan. I have discussed this permit with Jim Hafner of the
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District(MCWD). He stated any land alteration within the pond will
likely require an additional permit from the MCWD. You may wish to contact Mr. Hafner at(612)
471-0590.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
S7IY,
Paul Weinberger
Zoning Administrator/Planner
cc: Lyle Oman, Building Official
Tom Kellogg, City Engineer
Wendy Bottenberg, Assistant Zoning Administrator
Jim Hafner, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District
Telephone(612)249-4600 • Fax(612)2494616
