MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING, PLANNING C014MISSION, SEPTEMBER 219 1964 <br />VACATION OF ADAMS STREET <br />After a careful consideration of possible future effects of the <br />vacation of all of Adams Street, the Planning Commission'recom- <br />mended to the Council that only that portion of the street <br />bordered by Lot 1, Blk. 3 and Lot 4, Blk. 4, Bergquist & Wiekiunds <br />Park, be vacated. The remaining north section of the street <br />offers future access.to other properties. <br />ZONING'ORDINANCE STUDY <br />This work has reached the point where some expert review and <br />advice are required. It was suggested that copies of the various <br />proposed zoning ordinanees.be submitted to Jim Hawks of the <br />Mid -Jest Planning and'Research Company for study preparatory to <br />a joint meeting of the Council and Commission to hear his report. <br />It was moved by Cleveland that the Council approval of funds to <br />cover this study and report be requested. The motion was seconded <br />by Rice and passed. <br />REZONING - STUBBS BAY RESORT <br />There being no one present on this matter, it was tabled. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />- Page 2 - <br />S.
