4S .K <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, 7:30 P.M. <br />August 19, 1974 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Chairman <br />Guthrie, Curtis, Hake, Kullberg, and Van Nest. <br />Elliott at 8:00 P.M. Pesek at 8:25 P.M. <br />Absent: Gasch and Kallestad. <br />Curtis moved, Kullberg seconded, that the MINUTES <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 15, July 15, 1974 <br />1974, be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />Curtis moved, Kullberg seconded, that the MINUTES <br />Minutes of the Public Hearing of July 29, July 29, 1974 <br />1974, be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />Guthrie opened a public hearing on the PUBLIC HEARING <br />vacation of Lake Street in Ottoville. STREET VACATION <br />Since nobody wished to be heard, the hearing Lake Street <br />was closed. <br />Tom Betz showed the realignment proposed to STREET VACATION <br />compensate the Village for the present 30' 3775 Bayside Road <br />�f Lake Street by detouring it another way. <br />Van Nest moved, Hake seconded, that the <br />realignment as submitted be approved. Motion, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br />William Dolder represented himself in a VARIANCE <br />petition for a variance to construct a 3505 Livingston Avenue <br />residence on Lot 1, Block 4, Navarre Heights, <br />3505 Livingston Avenue. He was asking for a <br />variance in size from one -half acre to 6,750 <br />sq. ft., in width from 100' to 50', from one <br />side setback of 10' to 41, to place a <br />26' X 50' house thereon. He showed a letter <br />from the neighbor being encroached on stating <br />he had no objection. The neighbor's residence <br />was 40' ffom the line. <br />Van Nest moved, Kullberg seconded, that since <br />the lot size is consistent with many other lots <br />in the area, there is a sewer and water <br />assessment on the lot and service available <br />to avoid any health problems, approval be <br />recommended. Motion, Ayes (6) - Nays (0) . <br />�-en Roelofs represented Erling Falk in a VARIANCE <br />petition for a variance to place a garage 1981 Fagerness Point Rd. <br />addition on his home at 1981 Fagerness Point <br />Road. Members agreed it was the only place a <br />garage could be constructed due to terrain. <br />(Continued) <br />
