CARPENTER <br />Minnetonka Conservation..District moratorium is 915 Old Crystal Bay Rd. <br />lifted. ..' <br />Kullberg queried the engineer as to how natural KULLBERG <br />retention would compare with developed retention. <br />Gilliard stated developed retention would be <br />less than natural. <br />Curtis asked whether the 501 proposed street CURTIS <br />would have 50' of hardcover and was assured it <br />would only be 241. <br />Since nobody else wished to be heard, the public <br />hearing was closed at 8:25 P.M. Members now <br />commenced discussion on the merits of the <br />proposed subdivision. <br />Van Nest stated that while this was the type VAN NEST <br />of development the City desired, there were <br />still areas of concern and felt number one <br />was the commons. He felt it should primarily <br />be used for swimming, picnicing with elimination <br />of dockage and no structures should be permitted. <br />Kullberg wondered if the Park Commission should KULLBERG <br />be brought in for evaluation of the subdivision. <br />Members felt since this would all be private <br />property, there was no need for this. <br />Curtis felt since there are 19 lots proposed, CURTIS <br />they should be each allowed a slip with no <br />on -land storage. <br />allestad opined that if 19 present commercial KALLESTAD <br />slips could be disallowed, he would be in favor <br />of 19 extra residential slips, but under present <br />,onditions, would not be in favor of them. <br />How the water retention capabilities of the GASCH <br />swamp was arrived at. <br />
