CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> NO. 6990 <br /> �xESHO�� <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR <br /> 350 STUBBS BAY ROAD <br /> FILE NO.LA19-000018 <br /> WHEREAS, on March 1, 2019, Christopher W and Rachel A Bollis, a married couple <br /> ("Applicants"),applied for a preliminary plat for the property legally described in Exhibit A, (hereinafter the <br /> "Property"); <br /> WHEREAS, on April 15, 2019, after published and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City Code,the Planning Commission held a public hearing, at which time all <br /> persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon;and <br /> WHEREAS, on April 15, 2019, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br /> preliminary plat;and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 13, 2019, the City Council reviewed the application and the <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff;and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Orono, Minnesota <br /> hereby approves the requested preliminary plat as described above based on one or more of the following <br /> findings of fact concerning the Property: <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT: <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#LA19-000018. The analysis contained within staff <br /> memos and the exhibits attached to the aforesaid memos, all minutes from the above mentioned <br /> meetings, and any and all other materials distributed at these meetings are hereby incorporated by <br /> reference. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1B Zoning District. <br /> 3. The property is guided for Low Density Residential in the 2030 Community Management Plan and <br /> in the draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 4. The Property contains 10.21 acres in area. <br /> 5. The property will be served by individual well and septic systems, on site. <br /> 6. The Property is exempt according to the Stormwater Quality Overlay District. <br /> 1 <br />
