The following is a list of items that need your attention.
The crack in the front stoop that we hoped was a cosmetic issue has now cracked
again after it was repaired. It is now apparent that it is a structural problem and must
be removed and redone. The foundation must be investigated and replaced or
repaired per a licensed structural engineers approved recommendation. When the
stoop is replaced it must have positive-pitch to drain away from the house and have
the required 8"maximum rise and 9" minimum run from existing grade to the door
sill_
The patio doors were improperly installed. They must be removed and reinstalled
per the manufactures instructions. When complete, the patio door representative
must approve work. (See attached letter)
The windows are installed per manufactures specs, however caulking was Trussed or
poorly applied on,most windows and must be recaulked.
The Class B flue makes noises upon expansion and contraction. The wall must be
opened to investigate the firestops for proper installation.
The air conditioning unit does not have proper clearance above. Unix must be moved
to meet manufactures requirements.
Roof vents may be clogged with insulation due to high winds prior to the soffits
being installed. The vents must be investigated and cleaned if required.
Telephone (612) 473-7351 • FAX 493-Mlo
