MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />Monday, October 16, 2017 <br />6:30 o'clock p.m. <br />There were no public comments relating to this application. <br />Chair Thiesse closed the public hearing at 8:29 p.m. <br />Lemke commented it seems to be a nice improvement to the neighborhood. <br />Thiesse noted the City did not say they would never grant a variance above 20 percent as part of the <br />ordinance change. <br />Landgraver stated the Planning Commission has encountered this issue of whether a 3 -stall garage is <br />reasonable and that in his view it is. Landgraver stated if the structural coverage limit was still 15 <br />percent, he believes he would still be in support of it but that he is reluctantly in favor of it. <br />Schwingler commented a garage is practical. <br />
