Additional Anticipated Expenses: <br />• Budget required for printing materials (may be done in house at Orono city offices, but may <br />be completed at FedEx near Verve offices for expediency. To be reimbursed by Orono, will <br />discuss with city staff prior to beginning work); <br />• Budget for food/materials for Community Conversations (to be estimated and presented <br />before October 2017 for each of 3 planned events) - approximately $1500 per event, <br />depending on catering costs, style of meeting, facility/furnishing rentals, <br />printing/advertising fees, etc;, and for Community Advisory Committee meetings (coffee, <br />bagels, sodas, snacks) - approximately $100 per meeting for 5 meetings. <br />• Estimated $800 for an artist to visually render or visually harvest ideas that evolve out of <br />community conversations or other public meetings. These drawings/maps will provide a <br />valuable artifact for on-going planning and evaluation processes. <br />• Mileage reimbursement for driving to/from interviews while in Navarre area (submitted via <br />written log, miles only tabulated for driving within Navarre/surrounding area to get to <br />meetings/interviews with stakeholders, based on standard government reimbursement <br />rates, to be discussed in advance with preliminary estimates/expectations set in consort with <br />city officials); <br />• Cost of hiring a graphic designer to create logo/brand for Navarre Re -Imagine campaign. To <br />be approved/appropriated by City of Orono; <br />• Unexpected costs that arise during planning process - to be discussed in advance with Orono <br />staff and submitted with approval. Not to exceed $500. <br />Total Estimate for Consulting Services Proposed: 13 months Consulting, 12 months consulting <br />(September 2017 -August 2018) plus September 2018 for final report production and City Council <br />presentation = <br />$39,000.00 <br />Consulting Cost Not to Exceed: $39,000.000 or to exceed 13 months <br />Additional Estimated Expenses (to be estimated/approved during process and separate from <br />Consulting Scope of Service Expenses) = <br />$7000.00 <br />• $4500 for 3 Community Conversations ($1500/event) <br />• $800 for visual harvests/maps of community placemaking ideas <br />• $500 for 5 Citizen Advisory Committee meeting materials <br />• $1000 for "Lighter, Quicker, Cheaper"/Tactical Urbanism Prototypes <br />• $100 for 200 miles traveled in Orono to conduct interviews/meetings <br />• $100 for additional, unanticipated expenses <br />11 <br />
