A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />DOUGLAS REEDER <br />FOR HIS SERVICE <br />TO THE CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />WHEREAS, Doug Reeder has served as Interim City Administrator for the City of <br />Orono since February 23, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, Doug Reeder has demonstrated high standards for professionalism in <br />decision-making, work performance, and leadership throughout his extended service to the City <br />of Orono; and <br />WHEREAS, Doug Reeder has worked successfully with the Orono City <br />Councilmembers with sound dedication and commitment to public service; and <br />WHEREAS, Doug Reeder has been instrumental in the development of the Carman Bay <br />Lake Improvement District; and <br />WHEREAS, Doug Reeder's sense of humor, energy, and wisdom has enriched those <br />who know and work with him; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of <br />Orono does hereby express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Doug Reeder for his <br />dedicated service to the City, and does commend him for the manner in which he has carried out <br />his duties and responsibilities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby extend to Doug its <br />best wishes for success in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this 281h day <br />of August, 2017. <br />ATTEST: <br />Dustin Rief, City Administrator Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
