' PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 PREPARATION <br /> A. Field Measurements: <br /> ' The applicator shall have the sole responsibility for the accuracy of all <br /> measurements, and for the estimate of material quantities required and <br /> ' necessary to satisfy the requirements of these specifications. <br /> 3.02 ROOF REMOVAL SYSTEM <br /> I A. Remove only as much roofing as can be restored to a watertight condition <br /> each day or before showers commence. Plan work and take whatever action <br /> is necessary to prevent water from entering the building during roof <br /> replacement. <br /> B. Remove only those shingles that can be replaced in a days work. <br /> ' Remove dust and debris from the roof areas and premises. All <br /> debris is to be removed to an approved State Land Fill. <br /> ' 3.03 CLEANING <br /> ' A. Remove loose debris, dust and foreign matter from the roof. <br /> B. Remove debris from premises. <br /> 3.04 ROOF DECK REPAIRS <br /> A. As directed by the Project Manager. <br /> 3.05 CARPENTRY <br /> A. As directed by the project manager, replace all areas of wood including <br /> ' wooden nailers and wood blocking. See Scope of Work for additional <br /> information. <br /> ' B. Wood nailers and blocking to meet the top elevation of new roof insulation. <br /> ' 31 <br />
