' CONTRACT FOR ALTERATIONS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISION <br /> TEMPLE ISRAEL <br /> ' SUMMARY OF THE WORK: <br /> SP-1 Removal of existing roofing, insulation, sheet metal and any other items and furnish <br /> all labor, material, equipment, services and supplies required to complete the work which <br /> includes but is not limited to the following principal items; install new insulation and roof over <br /> existing deck as stated in the Scope of Work and Specifications. <br /> QUANTITY OF WORK: <br /> SP-2 The total quantity of work which will be required under this contract shall be <br /> determined by the contractor before submitting a bid. The summary is outlined in SP-1 <br /> above. <br /> ' WORK SCHEDULE: <br /> SP-3 All work shall commence after August 15, 1994 and be completed within Ninety <br /> Days. <br /> CONTRACT TERMINATION: <br /> SP-4 If the Contractor has breached the contract, the owner may terminate the contract. <br /> The owner may then have the work completed and bill the Contractor for all cost incurred in <br /> the completion of the work described in the contract. <br /> SAFETY -ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> SP-5 Performance for Temple Israel: In the performance of the contract, the Contractor <br /> shall: <br /> A. Comply with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Standards (Title 29, <br /> Code of Federal Regulations, Par 1910) promulgated pursuant to the <br /> authority of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and any and all <br /> updates. <br /> ' B. Comply with any other applicable Federal, State or local regulations <br /> governing workplace safety . <br /> 16 <br />
