1/4/20.17
City of Orono
2750 Kelley Parkway
Orono, MN 55356
Dear Honorable Mayor Walsh and Members of the City Council,
I am contacting you with a Letter of Request as I own the properties at 3407 Crystal Bay Rd (PID 1711723430116) as well
as the property next door to the east at 3405 Crystal Bay Rd (PID 1711723440022). Currently there is a city owned fire
lane (PID 1711723440023) located between the two properties.
The purpose of this request is to ask the city if it would vacate the fire lane (PID 1711723440023) which is located
between my two properties. The vacated fire lane would be divided evenly between the two properties (PIDs
1711723430116 and 1711723440022). There are no utilities which currently run through the fire lane between 3405 and
3407. The fire lane to the east of my home at 3405 Crystal Bay Rd (PID 171172344022) and the home to the east, 3399
Crystal Bay Rd (PID 1711723440021) was previously vacated (VAC 498812).
Please let me know if there are any questions you may have. I would be happy to attend the council meeting on January
23`x, 2017.
Thank you for your time. I truly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Catherine Sweet
Orono Resident
3405 & 3407 Crystal Bay Rd.
Orono, MN 55391
