Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to appoint John Thiesse to the Planning Commission. <br />2. Background. John Thiesse's second three-year term on the Planning Commission expired in April. <br />Mr. Thiesse has indicated a desire to continue serving the residents of Orono on the Plaming <br />Commission. Mr. Thiesse regularly attends scheduled meetings, and has served as the chair for the last <br />12 months. <br />3. Staff Recommendation. Staff recommends appointing Mr. Thiesse to the Planning Commission for <br />his last three-year term, expiring March 2020. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to appoint John Thiesse to the Planning Commission to a term expiring March 2020. <br />Prepared By: J.
