Surface Water Management Plan <br />May 9, 2017 <br />• Create XPSWMM model of the storm water drainage system using obtained data and updated <br />GIS mapping. <br />• Calibrate XPSWMM model through review with City staff of comparisons between model <br />predictions and experienced flood events. <br />• Evaluate the existing storm water drainage system for areas of vulnerability (i.e. flooding, lack of <br />storage, lack of attenuation, erosion, etc.) and coordinate locations requiring further assessment <br />with City staff. <br />• Prepare a list of potential solutions to vulnerabilities for locations deemed necessary through <br />review with City staff, including opinions of probable costs to help optimize prioritization. <br />• Update City's GIS system with current basin data (i.e. peak inflows, peak outflows, and 100 year <br />high water levels) and recommended storm water drainage system improvements (including <br />design descriptions and costs). <br />0 Provide printed copies of storm water drainage system mapping, as necessary. <br />Task 4: SWMP Report <br />e Prepare written Surface Water Management Plan to include all components required by <br />Minnesota Statute 10313.23 5 and Minnesota Rule 84 10. <br />e Review City's SVv`PPP and incorporate provisions as necessary to meet requirements of the City's <br />MS4 permit. <br />AssuMptions <br />• No surveys will be performed as part of this proposal. <br />• No wetland delineations will be performed as part of this proposal. <br />Based on the scope of services described above, we propose a not -to -exceed fee of $24,808 to be billed on <br />an hourly basis.
