Because the setbacks cannot be met, lot area and lot width variances are also <br />required because the lot is nonconforming. <br />Staff Recommendation: Planning Department Staff recommends approval. <br />Background <br />The applicants recently purchased the newly constructed home at 4009 North Shore Drive; they <br />subsequently acquired the subject property at 4005 North Shore Drive and wish to construct a <br />new single family residence and in -ground swimming pool. Due to the shape, size, and location <br />of the property, the applicants are requesting side street setback and average lakeshore setback <br />variances for the home and pool.
