Purpose. The purpose of this item is to gain Council Approval to accept the quotation for lawn <br />mowing services for 2017-2019. <br />2. Background. The latest three year mowing contract ended in 2016. Public works solicited quotes for <br />2017-2019 annual lawn mowing services, quotes were received from numerous firms. <br />3. Project Scope The scope of work includes the mowing of selected parks and city property (see <br />exhibit A) from April thru November. In addition the selected contractor will perform dethatching in the <br />spring and a fall leaf cleaning. The agreement for park mowing services is for 3 years, providing the <br />company is continuing to provide high quality work. <br />4. Cost. The table below is a summary of the three lowest quotes received. Funding. Mowing is funded through the Park Operation and Maintenance budget and the Central <br />Services budget. <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
