Special Event Permit #16-26 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />3) No practices can take place on Sundays. <br />4) Temporary structures must be placed just prior to the day's event and be removed <br />immediately thereafter. No structures may remain in the water overnight. <br />5) Permit holder must provide: <br />a) At least one certified CPR and basic first aid trained medical person onboard a <br />motorized watercraft, marked for ready identification that is equipped with sufficient <br />first aid supplies. <br />b) At least one additional motorized watercraft with persons onboard that are readily <br />available to respond to emergencies. <br />6) Any water accidents or incidents (involving injury or death to a person and / or property <br />damage of $2,000 or more) that may occur must be immediately reported to the Hennepin <br />County Sheriffs Water Patrol. <br />7) Event activity must be confined to the area designated here above but the permit recipient <br />shall not be allowed exclusive use of said area. If problems are created by other water <br />users, notify the Sheriffs Water Patrol. <br />8) The permit recipient is responsible for evaluating weather/ water conditions just prior to <br />and during the event and must cancel the event if any adverse conditions exist that <br />jeopardize event staff or participants. <br />9) All conditions from the cities of Long Lake and Orono permit must be followed. <br />10) Placement of trash receptacles in the area by the permit recipient (and all trash) must be <br />cleaned up within two hours after each event. <br />11) This permit must be displayed to any law enforcement or city official upon request. <br />The Sheriffs Water Patrol Unit, the Sheriffs Office and the County of Hennepin shall incur no <br />liability whatsoever that is directly or proximately attributable to the failure of the permit <br />holder to strictly comply with this permit. <br />The Hennepin County Sheriffs Water Patrol recommends that all trailered watercraft should be <br />cleaned and checked for exotic species prior to launching. <br />The individual, whose signature appears below, is the authorized agent of the permit holder <br />and accepts responsibility on behalf of the organization. This official must advise all staff and <br />race committee personnel of the permit in order to ensure the permit. <br />10771 <br />
