This committee will bring <br />some needed change to the City of Orono and we are in the front seat. <br />Enclosed are my notes. If there is anything I am missing please let me know. <br />Top Items: <br />1. Bring the wetland setbacks to where the MCWD has them. <br />2. Survey language needs to be changed in the ordinances in order to give staff more flexibility to <br />determine what is needed on the survey depending on the issues at hand. <br />3. Escrow requirements can be deleted. The developments where the city needs protection should be <br />able to live with an LOC. <br />4. Temp CO cost tied to % of house value? <br />5. Permit down to 1 page. <br />6. Fees for all the variances etc... should be less. More in line with what the surrounding cities charge. <br />Jeremy said he will come up with recommendations. <br />7. Jeremy, Will & Andy will get together offline to discuss building permitting needs. <br />A few items that will affect some of the above items. <br />1.
