AGENDA ITEM <br />Item No.: <br />Date: April 9, 2018 <br />Item Description: Appointment of 2018 Seasonal Employees <br />Presenter: Jason Goehring Agenda Consent Agenda <br />Parks and Golf Course Supervisor Section: <br />1. Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain Council approval of seasonal employees. <br />2. Background. The hourly pay is proposed to be $10.00-12.00 for the Golf Course Clubhouse <br />Attendants; $10-$15 for Parks and Golf Course Maintenance Employees, and $10-15 for Utilities <br />Maintenance Workers; and a pay range of $15.00-$20.00 for the Assistant Superintendent and Clubhouse <br />Manager. The Clubhouse Manager will be enrolled in the coordinated PERA plan. All other seasonal <br />employees will fall under the 6 month PERA Classification and are therefore excluded from PERA <br />membership. <br />3. Seasonal Employee Appointments and Candidates. <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
