CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING THE PLAT OF FRANZEL ADDITION <br />FILE NO. LA18-000066 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") has <br />adopted subdivision and land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe <br />development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 19, 2016, Kevin Anderson ("Developer") on behalf of James <br />Franzel, (the "Owner"), submitted an application for approval of a preliminary approval of 3 lot <br />subdivision of the Property located at 800 North Arm in the City of Orono and legally described as: <br />Lot 9, Auditors Subdivision No. 362 and Outlot 1, Pirates Cove, Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br />(hereinafter the "Property"); <br />WHEREAS, at its regular meeting on June 26, 2017, the Orono City Council <br />granted approval for the Preliminary Plat per the findings and conditions of Resolution No. 6774; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, on June 25, 2018 the Owner made formal application for final plat <br />approval for the Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Owner has made minor modifications to the preliminary plat, in <br />preparation of the final plat, has reduced the number of lots from 3 to 2, and has removed the <br />planned street extension. <br />WHEREAS, the Owner has agreed to comply with all pertinent conditions of <br />Resolution No. 6774 and has completed or has agreed to complete all other requirements of the <br />platting regulations of the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that based on the findings of Resolution <br />No. 6774, the City Council of the City of Orono does hereby approve the plat of FRANZEL <br />ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota (a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A) subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />
