Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain approval for the disposal of a forfeited <br />vehicle. <br />2. Background. The Police Department has a forfeited vehicle that can be disposed. The <br />vehicle was seized and forfeited by the Orono Police Department from a driver that had multiple <br />violations for Driving While Intoxicated. The police department would recommend vehicle be <br />sent to an auto auction. <br />3. Project Scope. Disposal of a forfeited vehicle. <br />2005 Ford Explorer VIN#FMDU73K85UA90084 <br />4. Staff Recommendation. I recommend that the disposal of a forfeited vehicle. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to dispose of a forfeited vehicle.
