CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-36 <br />OF THE ORONO CITY CODE <br />CONCERING THE MAYOR'S TERM OF OFFICE <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 2-36 of the Orono City Code is amended by deleting the <br />strikethrough language and adding the underlined language as follows: <br />Sec. 2-36. - Terms of office. <br />The mayor shall be elected for a twe four-year term at eaeh biennial eity eleetiefl... Two <br />members of the city council other than the mayor shall be elected for four-year terms at each <br />biennial city election. The mayor and councilmembers shall take office on January 1 next <br />following the election. <br />SECTION 2.
