Motion by Van Nest seconded <br /> by Frahm to accept the 1982 market value of $80 ,000. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 26. Paul Kaster <br /> 2600 Casco Point Road <br /> 20-117-23 24 0043 <br /> After a revaluation the value had been reduced to $209 ,200. <br /> Kaster felt this was the correct value for his property. <br /> Motion by Van Nest seconded by Butler to accept the <br /> assessor' s 1982 market value of $209,000. Motion carried. <br /> 27. Kendall Mix <br /> land only <br /> 03-117-23 24 0003 (part of this P.I.D. ) <br /> Represented by Edward Callahan, said this property should <br /> have been divided. No change was made by the Board. <br /> 28. Spencer Smith <br /> 385 Orono Orchard Road South <br /> 02-117-23 23 0002 <br /> Represented by Edward Callahan. Motion by Van Nest <br /> seconded by Butler to accept the 1982 market value as <br /> placed on the property by the assessor. Motion carried. <br /> 29. Kingsley Murphy <br /> 2265 North Shore Drive <br /> 10-117-23 32 0002 and <br /> 10-117-23 33 0002 <br /> Mr. Murphy was unable to attend the meeting but requested <br /> a reduction in the valuation of his properties. Motion <br /> by Van Nest seconded by Butler to accept the assessor' s <br /> 1982 market value. Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Van Nest seconded by Hurr to adopt the assessor' s <br /> valuation, on the Dossett property 21-117-23 32 0002 and <br /> the Norling property 17-117-23 31 0021 and 17-117-23 31 0020, <br /> if the Board can not legally have a meeting tomorrow, June 30, <br /> 1982, at 7: 00 p.m. This would allow these people their right <br /> to appeal at the County Board of Review. <br /> Mayor Van Nest suggested to Don Monk that the Orono Board <br /> of Review should be held earlier. In that way the Board <br /> would have more time to review each case. Monk stated the <br /> date was set later to accommodate the people who call and <br /> make appointments with the appraisers before the Board of <br /> Review meeting. <br /> Motion by Van Nest seconded by Adams to close the meeting <br /> at 10 : 30 p.m, and reconvene at 7 : 00 p.m. , June 30, 1982. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
