The project will include excavation and grading activities that will result in the discharge of fill material into approximately 2.10 acres of degraded shallow marsh type wetland, converting the area to a higher quality wet meadow and deep marsh type wetland. The project site is in the SW 1/4 of Section 5,T. 117 N., R.23 W.,Hennepin County, Minnesota. The authorized work is shown on the enclosed drawings labeled 2014-03355-MMJ,Page 1 of 5 through Page 5 of 5,which are hereby incorporated as part of this Letter of Permission. This authorization is issued under the provisions of LOP-05-MN. The authorized work includes: I. The conversion of approximately 0.50 acre of shallow marsh type wetland to deep marsh type wetland,associated with the excavation of a small open water area,to a maximum depth of 4.5 feet. 2. The conversion of approximately 1.60 acres of shallow marsh type wetland to wet meadow type wetland,associated with the discharge of the abovementioned dredged material over the remaining portion of the wetland basin. The authorization is subject to the following Special Conditions, as well as the enclosed General and Standard Conditions. 1. Annual monitoring reports shall be completed for the first three years following completion of the wetland restoration activities(2015 through 2017). Monitoring reports shall be completed according to the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resource's"Replacement Wetland Annual Monitoring Report"format and be submitted to the Corps(Attu: OP-R,Melissa Jenny)for review by December 31, 2015-2017. 2. The restored wetland area shall meet the following vegetative performance standards:
