Mayor Peterson asked why it had taken so long <br />for the Assistant Finance Director reclassification to be <br />completed and presented to Council. Bernhardson explained that <br />the process had begun during budget time, and was therefore <br />delayed. Motion Ayes -5, Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />( #21)COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT- FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />Councilmember. Goetten removed this item from the Consent <br />Agenda. She explained that, in her opinion, such items should <br />not be included on the Consent Agenda. <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to authorize <br />the compensation adjustment from Si.ep 3 to Step 4 -Of Level 12, <br />effective January 1, 1991, for the Finance: Director. Motion, Ayes -5, <br />Nays -0.
