.. <br />ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JANUARY 14, 1991 <br />SEASONAL WEIGHT LIMITS <br />RESOLUTION #2920* <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to adopt <br />Resolution #2920, establishing the 1991 Weight Limits for City <br />streets from March 15, 1991 through May 15), 1991. Motion, <br />Ayes -4, Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />LEE ERGER, PARK COMMISSION MEMBER <br />RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION <br />RESOLUTION #2916* <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to approve <br />Resolution #2916, recognizing Lei-: Erger's 13 years of service to <br />the Community as a member of the Park Commission. - Motion, <br />Ayes -4, Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />WOODHILL COUNTRY CLUB* <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to table this <br />item until the January 28, 1991 Council meeting. Motion, Ayes--4, <br />Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />CITY LOGO <br />Mayor Peterson removed this item from the Consent Agenda for <br />the purpose of abstaining from the vote. <br />Councilmember Callahan asked what colors are proposed for <br />the new LOGO. <br />Councilmember Goetten and Mayor Peterson indicated that they <br />preferred black rather than green. <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to accept the <br />information regarding the LOGO contest, as well as the winning <br />LOGO. Motion, Ayes -3, Nays -0., Peterson abstained. Motion <br />passed. <br />CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT /FINANCIAL REPORTING* <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to <br />congratulate Tom K;iehn, Finance D.-rector, as will as Linda <br />Walters, Charlotte Knutson, avid the City Staff as a whole, for <br />the City's excellent financial reporting, and Pannel Kerr <br />Forster, its Auditors, for their invaluable assistance. Motion, <br />Ayes -4, Nays -0. Motion passed. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE AND PERSONNEL RULES - AMENDMENTS <br />Councilmember Goetten removed. this item from the Consent <br />Agenda. She noted a discrepancy on Attachment A in the amount of <br />hours for 15 days and 19 days of vacation. <br />Bernhardson stated that the hours for L8 days were <br />incorrectly typed. <br />- 13 - <br />
