V <br />I <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />• HELD JANUARY 13, 1992 <br />( * #21) 1992 INSURANCE AWARD - WORKER COMPENSATION <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Butler, to award the City <br />of Orono 1992 worker compensation insurance to the League of <br />Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust in the amount of $46,872.00, <br />effective January 1, 1992. Ayes 4,,nays 0. <br />( * #22) 1992 POLICE VEHICLE ACQUISITION <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Butler, to approve the <br />purchase of the three squad cars-as budgeted, with the bid award <br />under Hennepin County Contract 2O38A1R -232 to Superior Ford for <br />the 1992 Ford Crown Victoria at a total purchase price of <br />$38,256.00. The 1992 budget amount of $37,200.00 includes the <br />estimated credit of $9,000.00 for the sale of three squads and <br />the change -over costs.
