MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 12, 1994 <br />(Item #13 - B -2 Ordinance Proposed Amendment - Continued) <br />• <br />Callahan moved, Hurr seconded, to table the B-2 Ordinance Proposed Amendment to the <br />January meeting of the Council. Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />Mayor Callahan indicated he has appreciated working with the Council during his first <br />two years as mayor and believed it has been a productive two years. <br />Jabbour volunteered for the position of working with Hennepin County to eliminate the <br />car /trailer parking on CoRds 51, 135, and 19 as part of the Maxwell Bay public access <br />project. Gerhardson said signs in those areas cannot be specific to the vehicle being <br />parked, i.e. allowing for cars only but no trailers. There would either be parking or <br />totally no parking. Residents on the lake in these areas are concerned with boaters using <br />their docks to get to their cars and trailers. <br />Gaffron reported that the Lake Use Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, <br />January 11, 1995 at 7:45 a.m. <br />ENGINEER REPORT <br />( * #14) PAY REQUEST #9 AND FINAL - STUBBS BAY SANITARY SEWER • <br />01PROVEMENT <br />Callahan moved, Jabbour seconded, to approve the 9th and final request for payment for <br />the Stubbs Bay Sanitary Sewer Improvement to Progressive Contractors, Inc., 8736 <br />Zachary Lane, Osseo, in the amount of $57,512.20. Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />( #15) SEPTIC /SEWER WORK PLAN <br />Moorse presented a summary of Council's direction and follow-up to the work session of <br />12/9. Staff is requesting confirmation of the direction given to Staff at that meeting. <br />According to Gaffron, the MUSA amendment materials should be ready for Met Council <br />presentation by the end of January. Gaffron suggested that the entire Orono Schools site <br />be included in the MUSA amendment. <br />0 <br />8 <br />
