A <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD FEBRUARY 28, 1994 <br />( * #4) #1896 ALLAN AND JUDITH KLOTSCHE, 2760 SHADYWOOD ROAD - <br />VARIANCES - RESOLUTION NO. 3386 <br />Goetten moved, Callahan seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 3386 approving variances for Allan <br />and Judith Klotsche at 2760 Shadywood Road. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />( #5) #1903 ERNEST LEMMERMAN, 1297 WILDHURST TRAIL /4620 TONKAVIEW <br />LANE - SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />This item was deferred until later in the agenda as the applicant was not present. <br />( * #6) #1904 ERIC AND SHELLY LILJEQUIST, 3490 BIRCH LANE - VARIANCE - <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3387 <br />Goetten moved, Callahan seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 3387 approving the variance for <br />Eric and Shelly Liljequist at 3490 Birch Lane. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#7) OTTEN BROTHERS, 2350 WEST WAYZATA BOULEVARD - REVIEW OF <br />BUILDING PERMIT FOR SIGNAGE PER PUD AGREEMENT <br />Kelley commented he had been in favor of this development but he was concerned about the <br />potential for creating problems by expanding the commercial uses allowed on this property. <br />Mabusth stated that the final PUD agreement allowed a specific area for other commercial uses <br />within the building. She reviewed the sign request and the options of action available to the City <br />Council. She informed the Council this item could be referred to the Planning Commission for <br />review, or to the Community Development Committee. She noted that the Council had not <br />reappointed this committee in January. Mayor Callahan inquired who was on this committee <br />and Mabusth responded that it consisted of the Building and Zoning Administrator, the Public <br />Works Director, and the City Engineer. <br />Jabbour inquired how long it would take this committee to reach a conclusion on this item and <br />Mabusth responded that it could be resolved as soon as committee members could attend a <br />meeting. Jabbour commented he felt the Community Development Committee should be <br />reappointed rather than refer this matter back tot he Planning Commission for review. <br />APPOINTMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE - <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3388 <br />Mayor Callahan moved, Kelley seconded, to appoint the Building and Zoning Administrator, the <br />City Engineer, and the Public Works Director to the Community Development Committee. <br />Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />
