Ayes 5, Nays 0.
( #11) #2071 JAMES AND JOANN JUNDT, 1400 BRACKETTS POINT ROAD - •
AMENDED VARIANCE - RESOLUTION #3617
Scott Crawford of Kraus Anderson Construction represented the applicants.
Jabbour immediately suggested tabling the application.
Goetten commented that the applicants have not responded to the request from the
Planning Commission for an overall plan, which has caused the City to get bogged down
with numerous applications without a look at the big picture of the plans for the property.
Goetten said she concurs with the Planning Commission Chair in the need to persevere in
obtaining an overall plan.
Kelley suggested denying the application.
Callahan asked Crawford the reason for not having received a plan from the Jundts.
Crawford said it was his understanding that all work for the overall structure has been
submitted. He had thought the variance application was complete and then found out
differently. Hurr said it was not only this structure that has been addressed. Crawford
said he was unaware of any further requests and has only responded per instructions.
Callahan said it was not the number of variances, per se, but the project has been difficult
to follow, and was concerned with losing sight of the overall plan. •
6
