0
No DNR Public Water watercourses are located within the investigation area, or within the surrounding
area of the site. Two DNR Public Waters are located north of the project area. One of the basins is
unnamed, and the other is Crystal Bay of Lake Minnetonka (27013310) (Figure 2, Appendix A).
The LiDAR map (Figure 4, Appendix B) illustrates the highest elevations in the southeast corner of the
site. Elevations vary within the project boundary, ranging from 952 feet above msl to 934 feet above
msl near the middle of the investigation area.
ANTECEDENT PRECIPITATION DATA ANALYSIS
The precipitation received in the project area during the previous three months was within the normal
range (30-70th percentile) for this area. Prior to the sample date of May 19, 2017 there was normal
precipitation in February, March, and April. Therefore the field work was completed under normal
conditions according to the precipitation worksheet for wetland delineations (Appendix Q.
Precipitation in the weeks leading up the wetland delineation field work was much higher than normal.
These rain events caused excess inundation of areas that may be dry most of the growing season.
These rain events should be noted when reviewing this report and attached appendices.
FIELD DELINEATION RESULTS
Based on the data reviewed and fieldwork conducted, one (1) area was examined for wetland
characteristics within the project area. One (1) wetland was ultimately delineated and further
described within this report. The delineated wetland is identified as Wetland A, which include sample
points 1-3.
Field data forms for each sample point are located in Appendix B. Refer to Figure 6 (Appendix B) for a
map of the project boundary, wetland basins, sampling transects, and area. Photos of the wetland
basin within the project boundary are included in Appendix C.
OTHER AQUATIC RESOURCES
There are no prominent aquatic resources adjacent to the project boundaries (Figure 2, Appendix A).
Lake Minnetonka surrounds the project area 0.15 miles north, 0.40 miles south, and 0.41 miles to the
west. Wetland A appears to extend off-site to the west. A ditch feature located along the west side of
the basin enters Wetland A from the north from an offsite residence.
WETLAND SUMMARY
Wetland A
Wetland A is a Type 1/2/6 wetland complex located in the middle of the project area. The wetland
extends east to west, and continues off-site to the west of the project boundary. The complex is
3635 Togo Road, Wayzata MN- Wetland Delineation Page 7
ISG Project No. 17-20520
