MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING <br />HELD AUGUST 13, 1990 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:00 P.M. <br />The Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor James Grabek, Councilmembers Diann Goetten, <br />Barbara Peterson and Edward Callahan. Councilmember Nettles was <br />absent. The following represented the City staff: City <br />Administrator Bernhardson, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Mabusth, Public Works Director Gerhardson, Assistant Planning and <br />Zoning Administrator Gaffron; City Engineer Cook, City Attorney <br />Barrett, and City Recorder Scheffler. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion, <br />Ayes -4, Nays -0, Motion passed. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Minutes of the Regular <br />Council Meeting held July 23, 1990. Motion, Ayes -4, Nays -0, <br />Motion passed. <br />PARK COMMISSION COMMENTS: <br />There were no Park Commission comments. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS: <br />• Planning Commission representative Bellows was present and <br />indicated. that she had no comments at this time. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS: <br />Karen Cuff, 3572 Livingston Avenue, presented a petition for <br />the City of Orono to undertake a storm sewer project. The <br />petition represented over 350 of the persons in her neighborhood. <br />Ms. Cuff stated that the neighbors are anxious for the project to <br />begin. <br />Mayor Grabek accepted Ms. Cuff's petition. He said, "We <br />will schedule this item for the August 27th Council Meeting." <br />There were no further comments from the public. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />#1334 REBERS CONSTRUCTION <br />SUGARWOODS PLAT <br />RECONSIDERATION OF CONDI`T'IONS OF PRD APPROVAL <br />City Administrator Bernhardson informed the Council that Mr. <br />Rebers had requested that this item be tabled until the September <br />10, 1990 Council Meeting. <br />Planning Commission representative Bellows said, "I spoke <br />with Chairman Kelley regarding this matter.
