April 9, 2019 <br /> Orono Planning Commission <br /> 2750 Kelley Parkway <br /> Box 66 <br /> Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 <br /> Good evening all: <br /> Subject: 690 Brown Road North proposed subdivision <br /> I have reviewed the proposed plat and commend the Larson's for keeping with the 2 acre minimum lot <br /> size we enjoy in our 26 years of living in Orono.We are the owners of the lot immediately north and <br /> north east of the proposed subdivision. <br /> I/we have a concern over the proposed plat in that the location of the homes on lots 3 and 4 will require <br /> a significant reduction in the size of the wetlands.This will naturally reduce the ability of the wetlands to <br /> filter the water which will enter Long Lake.Given the amount of time and dollars already spent to clean <br /> up Long Lake,this seems to be a counter productive measure.
