Hand auger to check for <br /> the position oti the grc�und water tabie and to identiFy the underiying soil type;s. Lacation af tests <br /> and boring's are shown on the site plan. <br /> The percolation tests ih°er� performLd i�� accordance i��ith th� provisions of"Minnesota Follution <br /> Control Agency Rules and Standards Chapter 7U80". The percc�(ation test ho(es were driiled to a <br /> alternate mound de�tii of 12 inches with a 5" i.d. x G" o.d. auger. Two if�ches of pea gravei w�ere <br /> placed in the bottom of each hole to prevent scaring. Water«�as ther. added to the test holes and <br /> replenished as necessary, rnaintaining a saturation. After more than lb hours each holc �vas <br /> refll(ed to a 12-inch head of water over the bottom, and the percotation tests commenced. <br />
