� � ��� <br /> � C ITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��'l,� �,�'~� N O. � J O � <br /> kESHOR <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br /> A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> FOR WINTER TRAINING FACILITY BUILDING <br /> PURSUANT TO ORONO MUNICIPAL CODE ' <br /> SECTION 78-418 <br /> FILE NO. 15-3729 <br /> WHEREAS, Spring Hill Golf Club, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation <br /> (hereinafter the°Owner") is the owner of the property located at 725 Sixth Avenue North within <br /> the City of Orono (hereinafter"City") and legally described as: Lot 1, Block 2, Spring Hill Golf <br /> Club, Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter"the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Tim Johnson (hereinafter the "Applicant°) on behalf of the Owner <br /> has made an application to the City pursuant to Orono Municipal Code Section 78-418 for a <br /> conditional use permit (hereinafter the "CUP") to permit construction of a winter training facility <br /> building (hereinafter the NBuilding"), a new driveway and parlcing area; - <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the Orono, Minnesota, City Code, the Orono Planning Commission held <br /> a public hearing on April 20, 2015 at which times all persons desiring to be heard concerning <br /> this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File 15-3729. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1 B One Family Rural Residential Zoning <br /> District which requires a minimum lot area of 2.0 acres and a minimum lot width <br /> of 200'. <br /> 3. The Spring Hill Golf Club operates pursuant to Conditional Use Permits approved <br /> by the City in 1997. <br /> 4. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing held on <br /> April 20, 2015 and recommended conditional approval of the CUP based on the <br /> following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
