LA 1 6, 14 . ► • • ► <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ADOPTION AND AMENDMENT <br /> PLAN PREPARATION <br /> The basic goals and philosophies contained in the 1974 Orono Village Comprehensive Guide Plan <br /> were continued in subsequentplansand are still the backbone of this 2020-2040 CMP.This update has <br /> been drafted by City Staff with input from an Advisory Committee established to advise the city <br /> on the development of this plan, and a separate committee and consultant, WSB and Associates, <br /> established to advise the city and its consultant on the development of the Navarre Area Plan. <br /> The Planning Commission and City Council received this input and support this plan. <br /> The Advisory Committee members were: <br /> Planning Advisory Committee Navarre Area Plan (NAP) <br /> (PAC) <br /> Bob Erickson Erik Zweber, WSB and Associates <br /> Candice Nadler Carlo Missio, WSB and Associates <br /> Chad Olson Ralph Kempf <br /> Dennis Libby Charles Nadler <br /> Dennis Walsh Kirk Sherman <br /> Jan Berg Michael Reymann <br /> Jennifer Smiley Tanya Srepel <br /> John Morast Devon Steinmeyer <br /> Jon Schwingler Ross Elenkiwich <br /> Meg Cowden Harry Yaffe <br /> Phil Lusardi John O'Sullivan <br /> Rick Meyers Shawn Mclntee <br /> Mary Tucker <br /> Bill Wolfson <br /> The Advisory Committees held a number of open houses to and community interactions to <br /> generate interest and facilitate comments. The PAC held a public Open House on September 13, <br /> 2017 to introduce the work to the public, and an open house on May 10, 208 to introduce the <br /> public review period. A final open house was held on October 25th to allow the public to review <br /> the final plan and to collect more comments prior to final adjustments for Planning Commission <br /> and City Council review. Open House forums were chosen to facilitate comments from <br /> City of Orono Community Management Plan 2020-2040 Part 5,Page 2 <br />
