Employees may not be permitted <br /> or required to work longerthan the prevailing hour of labor unless the employee is p�aid for <br /> all hours in excess of the prevailing hours at a rate of at least one and one-half(1-1/2) times <br /> ' his/her hourly basic rate of pay; nor shall he/she be �id a lesser rate of wages than the <br /> prevailing wa.ge rate in the same or most similar trade or occupation in the area. However, if <br /> , there is no State funding,overtime need only be pa.id for hours in excess of forty per week. <br /> 13.10.4 PAYROLLS AND BASIC RECORDS <br /> � The contractor and all subcontractors (including lower-tier) are required to pay prevailing <br /> wages. The contractor is required to maintain and preserve payrolls and canceled payroll <br /> checks, time cards and payroll registers all relating thereto (such canceled payroll checks, <br /> ' time cards and payroll registers hereinafter referred to as "basic records"). Such payrolls <br /> and basic records shall contain the name,address,and social security number of each worker, <br /> his or her coirect classification (the work classification must come from the Wage <br /> ' Determination issued for the project), hourly rates of wages paid, daily and weekly number <br /> of hours worked, deductions made and actual wages paid. In addition, the contractor shall <br /> � maintain daily time records showing the hours worked by all hourly employees. Such time <br /> cards shall be signed by the employee and the employer. <br /> The contractor sha.11 submit within fourteen(14)calendar da.ys after the end of each weekly <br /> ' pay period in which any contract work is performed all payrolls for said pay period to the <br /> following address: <br /> ' Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist <br /> Hennepin County Attomey's Office- Civil Division <br /> A-2000 Government Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55487 <br /> ' Upon request by the Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist,the contractor shall promptly <br /> furnish to said person the basic records to substantiate the payroll documents submitted. <br /> , A Contractor/Subcontractor Certification will be provided to the successful contractor.
