' Hennepin County Special Requirements Section 00800 - SUPPLEMENARY CONDITIONS ' 1/2/02 Edition Page 4 of 3Z , Delete Paragraph 3.9 and substitute the following: 3.9 PROJECT MANAGERAND SUPERINTENDENT ' 3.9.1 The Contractor shall employ a competent Project Manager who shall administer the Agreemerrt Between Owner and Contractor and who shall represent the Contractor. , Communications given to the Project Manager shall lx as binding as if given to the Contractor. Important communications shall be confirmed in writing. Other communications shall be similarly confirmed on written request in each case. , 3.9.2 The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during performance of the Work. The superintendent shall ' represent the Contractor,and commumcations given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. Important communications shall be confirmed in writing. Other communications shall be similady confirmed on written request in each case. ' 3.9.3 The Project Manager and the Superintendent shall be assigned to the Project throughout the term of the Contract except or unless the designa.ted individual's service to the Contractor is , terminated or the Owner finds reasonable objection to the individual in which case another individual shall be assigned to the same responsibility for the remaining term of the Contract. I3.10 CONTRACTOR'S CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES , Add the following to Subparagraph 3.10.1: The contractor is requested to provide a Critical Path Method Construction Schedule. ' 3.11 DOCUMENTS AND SAMPLES AT THE SITE � Add the following to Paragraph 3.11: 3.11.2 The Architect will furnish one complete set of Drawings and Project Manual to the ' Contractor for the purposes of recording all changes in the Work. The Contractor sha11 preserve and maintain these documents at the site in good condition and shall promptly and , directly record all changes to the Work upon them. 3.11.3 The Architect shall mspect these Record Documents from time to time during the course of � the Work to ascertain their condition and that they reflect the current condition of the Work. 3.11.4 Upon Substantial Complerion of the Work and prior to Final Payment, the Contractor shall � return the Record Documents to the Architect for the Arclutect's translation of all changes in the Work in the Record Documents for delivery to the Owner. � Suppl Conds-4 ��C��TY Orono �lt toraee March 22,2002 Project No.: 0031569 Contract No.: 0751 R2 �
