Unless noted otherwise in this Specification or on the Drawings, all materials <br /> shall be new and in their original packages. All materials shall comply with this ' <br /> Specification and at a minimum all applicable codes and standards as listed in <br /> Section 16010. , <br /> � B. Provide nameplates on all equipment such as disconnects, starters, MCC's, panels <br /> and switchgear. Nameplates shall identify equipment by name and source of ' <br /> '� power. They shall be a minimum of 1 1/4" x 3", or larger if necessary for <br /> i wording. L,ettering shall be a minimum of 3/16" in height. Identify all pull and <br /> junction boxes with circuit or feeder numbers and source of power using black ' <br /> magic marlcer. <br /> � C. All distribution equipment, such as disconnects, starters, MCC's, panels and ' <br /> 1 switchgear, shall be obtained from one manufacturer. <br /> D. Each panelboard shall be provided with a typed circuit directory. Clearly describe , <br /> � loads and areas served. Room names or Owner's room numbers shall be used. <br /> i Handwritten directories will not be accepted. ' <br /> � <br /> t <br /> E. The Contractor shall perform saw cutting, trenching, backfilling, compaction and <br /> i patching required for underground raceway systems shown or specified. , <br /> 1 <br /> � F. The Contractor shall provide concrete pads for all floor mounted equipment. Pads <br /> ! shall be 4" thick and extend a minimum of 2" beyond equipment. ' <br /> f <br /> G. Any cutting and patching required in walls, floors, ceilings or partitions for the <br /> installation of electrical systems shall be the responsibility of the Electrical ' <br /> { Contractor. All cutting and patching shall be done with the prior approval of the <br /> � Architectl Engineer. Patching to match existing finishes shall be performed by <br /> , the proper trades such as concrete finishers, sheetrockers, tapers, painters etc. at ' <br /> `': the expense of the Electrical Contractor. <br /> H. The Contractor shall be responsible for verifying locations of such things as , <br /> i piping, ductwork, equipment, door swings, heights of cabinets and counters, etc., <br /> jprior to the installation of all electrical equipment. Installed electrical work that � <br /> interferes with the work of other trades shall be relocated by the Electrical <br /> ' <br /> Contractor at no additional cost to the Owner. <br /> I.
